About Dr. Asmi Sanghvi

Asmi Sanghvi, DO is a dermatologist at The Dermatology Specialists with a focus on general and cosmetic dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Sanghvi received her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, her medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL, and completed her dermatology residency training at Orlando Dermatology in Maitland, FL. While in medical school, she founded the school’s first Dermatologic Interest Group, initiated community wide outreach as a National Psoriasis Foundation Community Ambassador, and was inducted into the prestigious Sigma Sigma Phi Honors Medical Society. Dr. Sanghvi’s clinical interests include skin cancer/cutaneous oncology, psoriasis, acne and cosmetic dermatology. She has been published in top peer reviewed journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), the Journal of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery (JDDS), and Cutis. Dr. Sanghvi is also the co-author of multiple textbook chapters, including “Genetics, Nutrition, and Skin” in Personalized, Evolutionary, and Ecological Dermatology, and “Hemostasis in Otologic and Neurotologic Surgery” in Otolaryngologic Clinics of North America. In her free time, she enjoys painting, cooking, traveling, and exploring new cafes and restaurants.
